Removed all old Writing

As title. Removed all written works from my gallery, both fan and original. While I'm not a huge fan of "erasing" my artistic past, I am no longer proud of my old writing and do not want it in the public eye.

All my (relevant, recent) work is hosted over on my Archive of Our Own account. There is a small chance I will re-host or even rewrite my old fics to post there, but for now I do not want them in any public-facing place.

Sorry to everyone who followed me for those in the first place. I hope my newer stuff is to your liking, but I understand if you've long since moved on.

'Iron and Sulfur' on Ao3

Should have posted this a while ago. As any followers who are paying attention to my occasional posts should hopefully know, I no longer post my writing to DeviantArt. Instead, I have an Archive of Our Own account where I post all my fanfic.

The last fic I linked here was "Cyanide," a multichapter Metroid AU fic. I'm pleased to say that the sequel, "Iron and Sulfur" is rapidly nearing completion! I'm taking a minor break to work up a bit of a backlog for the last few chapters. But for now, please give it a read!

'Cyanide' is complete on Ao3!

My Metroid Au fic "Cyanide", which spans from the end of Other M through to the end of Fusion is complete! Go take a look over on Archive of Our Own.

"Cyanide" M-rated, 23k words, 12 chapters. Warnings for profanity, Major and Minor Character Death.

After his death, Adam Malkovich wakes up in a console in Federation HQ, a hole in his memory where the last month should have been. Putting the pieces together and trying to get on with his new ‘life’ starts to prove challenging. Every move puts him in view of the people trying to avoid him, or people aiming to control him - people determined to have his silence and cooperation for the sake of some grander plan.

Good things do happen to bad people. And Adam comes to realize he may have been worse for the people in his life than he originally thought.

First: I'm calling you out "celliot1981." Be wary of this account or similar accounts if you receive a "Request" (chat message from an account you aren't following) from this person or anyone else about using materials you have posted to Adobe Stock. I know for a fact I have never posted anything to Adobe Stock, and this person's account does not appear to exist. It's a lame scam that probably keys off of you replying to them in chat. Don't reply, block messages from these scammers, and report them if their account is still active. Second: More to business. I know full well I haven't posted anything here for ages, either writing or actual art. I doubt any of my followers even know who I am still (as if I had all that many anyway). The fact is I have not been doing much art at all over the past few years. I'm not a coffee drinker by any means, nor am I confident enough in my art to charge for commissions, but I've set up a Ko-fi page if you'd like to support my work! As a quick primer: Ko-fi is a platform that allows supporters to make a small donation to a creator, or "buy them a coffee" (since the default donation amount is about the cost of a coffee). It's not a subscription platform, so you're not obligated to continue donating (and I'm not obligated to keep up a constant output of work as rewards), so it's a much more casual way to show your support, if you're so inclined. Hey all, got a broad, overarching, difficult question for all of you. How do I make my art worth selling? See, various factors are conspiring to make me ambitious that my work might actually be worth money...someday. Right now I'm not confident enough in my work to ask for money; everyone I know that takes commissions has an established style and/or extremely high quality of product. EDIT: A housemate has offered me his copy of PS 2015, so for now my problems are solved. Do pitch in with your advice though, I still really appreciate it! Hey DA! My ancient copy of PS Elements 5 (yeah, ancient) finally decided it doesn't want to be compatible with Windows anymore. I've tried un/re-installing and running in compatibility and admin modes, nothing seems to work. Unfortunately I have a lot of unfinished projects that are in .psd files that I now no longer have access to.
